My first alphinism experience !
Getting there and back#
Car through France.
Day hikes#
- Day 1: warm-up with hiking in the valley and abseiling.
- Day 2: safety training.
- Day 3: ice ax training in what is left of the mer de glace.
- Day 4: climbing school in the morning before hiking up to the Refuge Albert 1er. Caught in a hailstorm.
- Day 5: Ascend the “Aiguille du tour”. Wake up at 4AM to start climbin before 5AM and reach the top around noon. Then climb down all the way to the valley.

- 4x pairs of walking socks.
- 4x merino boxers
- Decathlon Forclaz Merino long sleeve t-shirt: x2 (base layer).
- Decathlon Forclaz Merino short sleeve t-shirt: x2 (base layer).
